Ubisoft has announced that The Crew 2 will be available on June 29th, 2018 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. It will be available 3 days early, on June 26th, 2018, for Gold Edition owners on all aforementioned platforms. Those on Xbox One X and PS4 Pro can also look forward to “enhanced features,” but these have yet to be detailed.
Ubisoft also revealed a ‘Motor Edition’ for The Crew 2, which will be exclusively sold on the Ubisoft
Store. It also features three days early access to the full game, as well as an American License Plate, a Steelbook, the official Roadmap of the game, and four original stickers. It also includes the Season Pass, which has early access to new vehicles, VIP contents and more.
To celebrate the news, Ubisoft has shared a new trailer for The Crew 2 to highlight its release date and showcase its beautiful and vast open-world with fast cars, planes, and dynamic weather effects. Those eager to experience The Crew 2 before its release date can also register for the Closed
Beta on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
The Crew 2 is the sequel to the 2014 open-world racing game that’s set in the entirety of the United States of America, which has been “fully-redesigned” for this game. Players will have the opportunity to fly and spin through fog and clouds above the snow-capped Rocky Mountains, burn rubber in the backstreets of New York City, sweep through the Mississippi River, and explore every inch of the Grand Canyon.
Players can also join four different motorsports families from around the country: street and pro racers, off-road experts, and freestylers. They’ll hook you up with new rides and introduce you to their own unique motorsports culture and set of disciplines. Through competitions and chance encounters, find and hone your personal style, collect and customize your dream rides, show them off in your HQ, and make your mark on the entire motorsports scene in the USA.
Ubisoft has built The Crew 2 to capture the thrill of the American motorsport spirit in “one of the most exhilarating open worlds ever created.” Featuring the widest range of disciplines featuring all kinds of cars, bikes, boats, and planes, The Crew 2 takes the genre to new heights, literally, as it opens up the entire USA to non-stop competition, no-limits exploration, and total freedom.
