Codemasters has lifted
the curtain off its cover art for F1 2018. As before, it’ll appear with
different drivers based on the location you’re buying the game from. What’s
different this time of round is the new theme, which is all about making
Last year’s Formula 1 game release had different artwork for
Australia, the Americas, and the Netherlands/Belgium/Luxembourg, as well the
main cover art used in the UK and Ireland. For F1 2018, Codemasters has opted
to have different driver line-up versions for Australia, Germany, France,
Spain, the Netherlands/Belgium/Luxembourg and Mexico, as well as the main cover
art for the Americas, the UK and Ireland.
The Day One ‘Headline
Edition’ of F1 2018 also contains two exclusive classic cars – the 2009
Brawn BGP-001 and the 2003 Williams FW25.
Below, you can have a look at the box arts for F1 2018 on
PlayStation 4 for each region around the globe. Codemasters noted that the Xbox
One and PC package shots will match according to the country you’re located in. The developer also said that it’s “very proud” of its cover art for F1 2018, which it believes to be its best yet.
First of all, we have the main cover art for F1 2018, which
features Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel.
The German cover art of F1 2018, which will be sold in Germany,
Austria and Switzerland, features Max Verstappen, Sebastian Vettel in the
centre and Lewis Hamilton.

F1 fans located in France can look forward to Romain
Grosjean, Lewis Hamilton and Pierre Gasly on the cover of F1 2018.
F1 2018 in Spain will feature Fernando Alonso, Lewis
Hamilton and Carlos Sainz on the cover.
The version of F1 2018 sold in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg
will feature Stoffel Vandoorne, Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton as the stars
on the front cover.
Lastly, Codemasters revealed that F1 2018’s Mexican cover
will feature Sebastian Vettel, Sergio Perez and Lewis Hamilton.
To celebrate last weekend’s French Grand Prix, the developer
also shared a brand-new gameplay trailer for F1 2018 that showcases the Circuit
Paul Ricard. The video featured F1 drivers Romain Grosjean, Esteban Ocon, Pierre
Gasly, and Carlos Sainz driving a hot-lap of the French circuit and discussing their
experience with the game.
The French version of F1 2018 will also feature the vocal talents
of acclaimed Canal+ journalist and commentator Julien Fébreau, designed to
bring you “ever to closer to the television broadcast you see on race weekends.”
F1 2018 will be available
on August 24th. 2018 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, and has been confirmed
to take full advantage of Microsoft’s Xbox One X
console with 4K Ultra HD and HDR support having already been confirmed. For
