Codemasters has announced today that its F1 Mobile Racing game will be launching worldwide for iOS devices on October 18th, 2018 – just two days from now as of publishing.

F1 Mobile Racing is a free-to-play F1 experience for mobile devices, and challenges players to compete globally in fast-paced, real-time races. These 1v1 events will see you rising through Leagues and unlocking upgrades for one of the official cars from the Formula 1 grid, or your very own customizable F1 race machine. For the first time, you’ll be able to design and create your own Formula 1 monster to unleash onto the track.

Codemasters will also introduce regularly updated challenges into the game, combined with single-player options and plenty of customization to make F1 Mobile Racing a deep and enjoyable experience for competing on the go.

F1 Mobile Racing is being developed by a team located in Lyon, France, in collaboration with Eden Games, the folks behind the very successful Gear.Club.

Codemasters says that following the iOS launch, F1 Mobile Racing will become available on Android “shortly after.” The developer says this version of the game is making “strong progress behind the scenes,” so the wait shouldn’t be too much longer.

Launch day is only just the beginning for F1 Mobile Racing. The team plans to introduce post-launch updates to bring new content, features and refinements into the game to entice players to keep coming back for more. Codemasters also teased that it might have some unique content in store for F1 Mobile Racing in the future as the 2019 FIA Formula 1 World Championship arrives early next year.
