The Forza franchise is racing its way to the Steam platform with the arrival of Forza Horizon 4 on March 9th. It’s the first game from the series to launch on Valve’s PC digital distribution platform and sets the stage for more Forza titles to arrive on Steam in the future.

Steam users can add Forza Horizon 4 to their wishlist beginning today and be notified of when the game is available for purchase on March 9th. This new version of Forza Horizon 4 has been developed by Sumo Nottingham and coexists with its Windows 10 counterpart on the Microsoft Store. Be sure to watch the all-new Steam trailer below as it might feature a familiar name in it.

Forza Horizon 4 on Steam includes all content updates released for the game thus far, including The Eliminator and Super7. Players will also have the option to purchase both the Fortune Island and LEGO Speed Champions expansions on Steam, as well as the Best of Bond Car Pack, the Barrett-Jackson Car Pack and the all-new Hot Wheels Legends Car Pack.

Cross-play is also included as standard on the Steam version of Forza Horizon 4, allowing you to easily meet and race against drivers on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Windows 10 PC and on Android devices via cloud gaming with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

It’s important to note that even if you log into the Steam edition of Forza Horizon 4 with your existing Xbox Gamertag, saved data from other versions of the game will not be synchronized. Instead, your Steam save profile will be separate to your saved data from Forza Horizon 4 on Xbox consoles and Windows 10 – allowing you to have two unique Forza Horizon 4 profiles attached to the same Xbox Gamertag. Your leaderboard scores and club participation will be saved across both, however, as those are server based.

Forza Horizon 4 on Steam features 3 versions to choose from: The Standard Edition includes the full game and the Formula Drift Car Pack. Upgrade to the Deluxe Edition to receive the Best of Bond Car Pack and the Car Pass. Meanwhile, those who go all-out and get the Ultimate Edition will get all aforementioned content as well as the Welcome Pack, VIP, Fortune Island and LEGO Speed Champions.
