With the addition of the 2017 Ford
F-150 Raptor Xbox One X Edition to Forza
Motorsport 7 today, developer Turn 10 Studios also shared details on what
else is coming to the game this month, including the next Car Pack and Content
Update, as well as when we can expect to hear about the return of the Forza
Racing Championship esports series.
On February 19th, which is a Monday – an odd day for new
Forza content – Turn 10 will release the next major Content Update for Forza
Motorsport 7 that will be coincided by this month’s Car Pack. No details were
shared yet on the cars that will be featured, but the Content Update will
likely be the long-awaited eSports Update
for Forza Motorsport 7, which promises to feature “brand-new esports, online
racing, and spectating features in the game that have been designed [to take]
competitive play to the next level.”
For reference, the Totino’s Car
Pack for Forza Motorsport 7 in January also launched in the middle of the
month. Turn 10 said fans can expect “more details” on the next Car Pack and
Content Update as we approach February 19th. Meanwhile, the Forza
Racing Championship will be making a comeback on Forza Motorsport 7 later
this year, and the official announcement including Turn 10’s plans for the return
of the series will be shared sometime this month. Details on the schedule,
format, and more will be revealed “in the coming weeks.”
In addition to the above, Turn 10 also shared some of the
new events in February coming to Forza Motorsport 7. Not only will we have a
brand-new Bounty Hunter challenge where players will take on Turn 10 Studio
Head Alan Hartman, but there will also be another event featuring “a twist on
the traditional Rivals format.” Turn 10 didn’t explain what this ‘twist’ would
be, but it’ll be interesting to find out what it is once the event goes live.
Finally, fans can look forward to the arrival of new Driver
Gear suits celebrating the Winter Olympics, the Lunar New Year, and more. Another
suit celebrating Valentine’s Day is available to earn this week in Season
3 of Leagues in Forza Motorsport 7.
Overall, the next few weeks are sure to be exciting for
Forza fans. With details on the return of the Forza Racing Championship only a
few weeks away, and the next Car Pack and Content Update out on February 19th,
there’s a lot to look forward to in Forza Motorsport 7. Of course, FullThrottle
will have everything you need to know on what’s happening in the Forza
universe, covered in-detail as you come to expect, but for now, make sure you grab
the free 2017
Ford F-150 Raptor Xbox One X Edition.
