The month of May is here and with it comes a fresh batch of Forzathon
events to beat in Forza Motorsport 7. Like last month, each of the four events only have one challenge that needs to be beaten to unlock your reward, in contrast to past Forzathon events that featured multiple challenges you would need to complete in sequence order.
None of the challenges are too difficult either. In fact, they’re all relatively easy and should be acquirable by players of all skill level in only around 15 minutes of game time. The tasks range from beating a Rival to winning Race events, and for doing so, you’ll be duly rewarded with new
exclusive cars such as the 2013 Dodge Dart GT Forza Edition and the 2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, as well as the 1988 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Super Sport and the ‘Fill 'Er Up’ Driver Gear suit.
As usual, you can find the full breakdown of each new Forzathon event in Forza Motorsport 7 for the month of May below.
This event can be easily completed in Free Play. Simply choose any homologated
car division or vehicle that you desire, load up the full Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit, and customize the number of laps and Drivatars you wish you have, and then you’re good to go.
There’s no requirement on laps or Drivatars either, so you can simply choose to have no AI drivers with you in a short one-lap race to easily unlock this Forzathon reward.
This event will see you attempting to break a speed target at Hockenheimring. For this one, I chose the Koenigsegg One:1 – a ridiculously fast hypercar that’s also smooth and easy to handle. When you’re setting up the event in Free Play, feel free to increase the number of laps so you can have a few attempts at it, however, I was able to hit the 150mph target on my first lap.
You’ll remain in Free Play for this Forzathon event as you head to Road Atlanta Full in a Hot Hatch Icons division car of your choosing. To complete it as quickly as possible, you can setup the race to have only one lap with either a few or no AI Drivatars to race against.
To unlock the 2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, you’ll be heading into Rivals mode and beating someone on the leaderboard. The easiest way to unlock this one is to manually choose someone from the leaderboard with a slow time – or someone who is usually slower than your overall pace.
Most often, the game will usually select someone from your Xbox Live friends list by default to beat. If you have a lot of friends who play Forza Motorsport 7, then this shouldn’t be too difficult to obtain. Otherwise, pick someone from the any of the in-game Rivals leaderboard events and set them as your current Rival. Then head onto the track and beat their time!
Those are all the Forzathon events available over the next four weeks in Forza Motorsport 7. It’s worth noting that these all updated immediately once I had completed them – meaning I didn’t need to reattempt certain events or reload into other races for them to be tracked. Naturally, your mileage may vary, but like last
month’s challenges, these have been by far the smoothest and easiest Forzathon events to complete yet in Forza Motorsport 7.
Turn 10 has yet to announce details on what else fans can look forward to this month in Forza Motorsport 7. The Car Pass ended in April with the release of the K1 Speed
Car Pack, but the 2018 season of the Forza Racing
Championship is in full swing, with prizes available for simply competing in each of the events available. Season 6 of Leagues also has a bunch of new prizes available to earn from simply partaking in race events.
