The next Car Pack for Forza Motorsport 7 will be available
on Tuesday, January 16th, developer Turn 10 Studios has confirmed. It will
coincide with the latest content update for the game, available on the same date.
The news was shared in the first Forza Motorsport Week
in Review of 2018, though Community Manager Brian Ekberg also revealed the
details in his annual New Year’s Eve livestream on December 31st.
“For those wondering, there will be a Car Pack this month
for Forza Motorsport 7. The next update for the game, which will include that
pack, will be released on January 16,” he said. “Look for our traditional clue
thread in the Forza Forums next week."
In the final Week in Review
of 2017, Ekberg confirmed that the Forza Racing Championship will make a
comeback in “early 2018,” with an update to Forza Motorsport 7 in the works to
enable “brand-new eSports, online racing, and spectating features in the game
that have been designed [to take] competitive play to the next level.” He also revealed
that more details about the return of ForzaRC would be shared over the “coming

Car Pack, as well as details on the return of ForzaRC. It’s also worth noting
that the Xbox One X Enhanced Update for Forza Horizon 3 drops the day beforehand,
on January 15th.
In other news, Turn 10 has sent out the two bonus reward
cars for participants in the December
Bounty Hunter challenge featuring Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer. The cars included
the 2017 Porsche 911 RSR race car for partaking in the challenge, whilst those
who successfully beat his time received the 2010 Ferrari 599 GTO – the car
which Turn 10 says “won in a landslide” in its December Reward Car Twitter
Another Bounty Hunter event will feature in January, and
there will be a Twitter Reward Car Poll as usual. Details on this next event
will be shared “soon.” Turn 10 has also sent out the Master
Chief and Olympia Vale Driver Gear suits from Halo 5: Guardians to eligible
participants. Those who took part in the aforementioned Bounty Hunter Rivals
event will also have these suits ready and waiting for them in the in-game ‘Message
Recently, Forza Motorsport 7’s Creative Director Bill Giese teased
that 2018 will be “a huge year” for the Forza franchise, revealing that the
team has some “spectacular announcements and new experiences” in the works. It looks
like things will get into gear beginning the week of January 15th. Of course, we’ll
