With the removal of
Prize Crates from Forza Motorsport 7 in the November Update launching this upcoming week, developer Turn 10 Studios has revealed some changes to its Forza Rewards loyalty program that will impact newcomers to the game. By simply playing Forza, you can earn credit rewards to claim on a weekly basis, but Forza Motorsport 7 also offers an assortment of different unlocks when you play the game for the first time based on your dedication towards the Forza franchise.
Forza Rewards is broken down into different Tier levels, and these tiers are attained by playing Forza games and achieving certain milestones within them – such as driving a specific number of miles or hitting an assigned Driver Level. Accomplishing these feats increases your overall Forza Score, and the higher the total, the higher your Tier level will be. As you increase your Forza Tier level, you’ll begin to earn more rewards in Forza games.
Previously, all players earned a number
of Prize Crates when playing Forza Motorsport 7 for the first time as part of their dedication and loyalty to the franchise. From the November Update onwards, all new players will instead earn Mod Cards per Forza Rewards Tier Level. Mod Cards are in-game modifiers that require players to complete certain challenges to earn bonus credits and XP. Some cards are rarer and more beneficial than others, with the best ones offering large credit pay-outs and XP boosts for simply completing races. Mod Cards can be used in both the Forza Driver’s Cup campaign mode, as well as Free Play. They cannot be used in Multiplayer races, since certain Mod Cards offer vehicle performance modifiers.
Below, you can have a look at what Mod Cards players will earn based on their Forza Rewards Tier Level when playing Forza Motorsport 7 for the first time following the November Update:
Forza Rewards Tier 2
Forza Rewards Tier 3
Forza Rewards Tier 4
Forza Rewards Tier 5
Forza Rewards Tier 6
Forza Rewards Tier 7
Forza Rewards Tier 8
Forza Rewards Tier 9
Forza Rewards Tier 10
Forza Rewards Tier 11
Forza Rewards Tier 12
As always, all Forza Rewards Tiers are cumulative. For example, a Tier 10 player would earn all the Mod Cards associated with Tier 10, as well as all the cards in the Tiers before it. Keep in mind, these Mod Rewards are only available to new Forza Motorsport 7 players and those who have already received their Loyalty Rewards for the game will not receive these additional Mod Cards. However, Mod Cards will be acquirable from the all-new ‘Race Shop’ coming to Forza Motorsport 7 with the November Update. This shop will offer a rotating stock of Driver Gear outfits, Mod Cards and Player Badges and will refresh every few minutes.
In addition to the above Mod Cards, all new Forza Motorsport 7 players will also receive exclusive in-game Driver Gear outfits based on their Forza Rewards Tier. These special suits are designed to represent past Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon titles and are most certainly a great way of showing your faithfulness to the franchise. They’re also accompanied by unique Player Badges that you can use to show off your dedication to Forza. You can check out how they’re divided based on Forza Rewards Tier below:
In addition to the above, Forza Motorsport 7 will continue to offer weekly credit bonuses to all players. These are also based on your Forza Rewards Tier. Starting at Tier 2, players can redeem a weekly credit bonus across
all mainline Forza titles available on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. That means these rewards don’t just apply to Forza Motorsport 7, but also Forza Horizon 4, Forza Motorsport 6, Forza Horizon 3 and so forth.
You can redeem your weekly credit bonuses for all Forza titles on either the Forza
Rewards page over on the official Forza Motorsport website, or via the Forza Hub app for Xbox One and Windows 10. Below, you can have a look at the weekly credit pay-outs for Forza Rewards based on your overall Forza Tier, and as mentioned already, these apply for all Forza titles on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC except for the free-to-play Forza Motorsport 6: Apex.
As usual, these credit rewards are cumulative, which means if you’re Tier 12 for example, you’ll earn the Tier 12 credit pay-out combined with all the lower Tier credit rewards too. Hit Tier 13, and you’ll be unlocking 500,000 credits every week across all the mainline Forza titles on Xbox One and Windows 10. That includes Forza Horizon 4, Forza Motorsport 7, Forza Horizon 3, Forza Motorsport 6, Forza Horizon 2 and Forza Motorsport 5. Smaller credit pay-outs are also made available on a weekly basis for classic Forza titles on Xbox 360, including Forza Horizon and Forza Motorsport 4.
The newly-refreshed Forza Rewards for Forza Motorsport 7 will be available on Tuesday, November 6th with the release of the November Update and the removal of Prize Crates. Accompanied by the free Hot
Wheels 50th Anniversary Car Pack, it promises to be yet another extensive update for Turn 10’s latest motorsport game. Before the update rolls out, Turn 10 will dive into everything you need to know about it on the next edition of its Forza
Monthly broadcast show, which airs on Monday, November 5th at 1pm Pacific (4pm EST, 9pm GMT) over on the Forza Mixer and Twitch channels.
