Forza Motorsport 7 has already received Driver Gear suits based on Microsoft’s other leading first-party franchises – Halo and Gears of War, and now it’s time for Minecraft to join in the fun with some Minecraft-exclusive Driver Gear suits available to unlock in Forza Motorsport 7.

As revealed in the latest Forza Motorsport Week in Review, there’s two Minecraft suits available to unlock in Forza Motorsport 7. The first of these is the Diamond Armor Suit, and this will be rewarded to anyone who plays Minecraft on Xbox One between January 1st, 2017 – April 30th, 2018.

Players who are eligible to receive the suit will be sent a download code for it via Xbox Live Messages beginning in late April. Codes will be sent to all players by early May.

The second Minecraft-themed Driver Gear suit is the Creeper outfit. Simply set a time between April 1st – April 30th in any of the following upcoming in-game Rivals events and this one will be yours:

April Car Pack Challenge: Set a time in this event between 4/1 and 4/30 midnight Pacific to earn the Minecraft Creeper Driver Gear. (This event will see players hot-lapping the 1985 Nissan #83 Electramotive Engineering GTP ZX-Turbo from the April Car Pack launching April 10th).

VIP – Fast In Black: Enjoy a night drive in the 2012 Nissan GT-R Black Edition Forza Edition.

ForzaRC April Training Grounds: Get prepared for the #ForzaRC with Rivals using competition restrictions. Get in the Audi #45 Flying Lizard Motorsports R8 LMS ultra using the following settings set to OFF: Suggested Line, ABS, STM, TCS, and Friction Assist. Shifting is manual with clutch.

These Minecraft Driver Gear suits join the large catalogue of outfits already available in Forza Motorsport 7. With Halo and Gears of War suits already present, it makes us wonder if we’ll see any other game-inspired Driver Gear outfits in the future. Perhaps we’ll see some Driver Gear suits based on a third-party franchise? With lots of titles launching in 2018, there’s a lot Turn 10 Studios could choose from, but of course, only time will tell.

Turn 10 has also added Driver Gear suits to Forza Motorsport 7 to celebrate various special occasions, including the Winter Olympics, St. Patrick’s Day, and Chinese New Year.

As always, we’ll be sure to keep you updated with any other Driver Gear additions to Forza Motorsport 7 in the future.
