Polyphony Digital has announced its next update for Gran Turismo Sport that is slated to roll out on Thursday, May 30th for PlayStation 4. This release is the latest of free content drops for the sim-focused racing game which launched in 2017. This month’s update includes the historic Goodwood Motor Circuit located in Southern England, as well as eleven new rounds for the GT League and a new special featured Editor’s Choice II section for Scapes mode.

Whilst no new cars are being introduced in the May Update, this latest release for Gran Turismo Sport is headlined by the franchise debut of the Goodwood Motor Circuit. Located in the suburbs of Chichester in Southern England, this historic racing course has hosted many illustrious race drivers and legendary vehicles.

It encircles the Goodwood Airport, and unlike many modern circuits, is surrounded by idyllic scenery. Goodwood is also considered a high-speed course, featuring several fast corners. With plenty of flat-out sections and a good mix of elevation changes, there promises to be plenty of dramatic racing moments at the Goodwood Motor Circuit in Gran Turismo Sport.

Meanwhile, the newest events added to the GT League career mode include the following:

Beginner League

  • Two additional rounds will be added to the MINI Challenge.

Amateur League

  • Two additional rounds will be added to the Nostalgic Car Festival.
  • Two additional rounds will be added to the Supra Legend.
  • Two additional rounds will be added to the Super Formula Championships.

Professional League

  • Two additional rounds will be added to the F1500 Championship.

Endurance League

  • One additional round will be added to the Porsche Cup.

That’s it for the May Update for Gran Turismo Sport. Download it for free on PlayStation 4 consoles from Thursday, May 30th. Stay tuned for details of more updates in the future.
