ONRUSH has received its long-awaited Ranked Mode, which allows players to compete in graded matches to unlock exclusive in-game rewards. Available on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles, the ONRUSH Pre-Season has officially begun and will be available for two weeks before the first main season kicks off, dubbed the ONRUSH Summer Slam.

The ONRUSH Pre-Season introduces players to Ranked Mode and gives them the chance to unlock exclusive in-game rewards, including XP bonuses, credits to buy new customization items, as well as unique 'Pirate' and 'Sunglasses' Tombstones.

During the Pre-Season, players will take part in several ‘placement’ games to determine their overall skill level. This will in turn issue them one of the following ranks:

  • Bronze: Jack, Queen, King, Ace
  • Silver: Jack, Queen, King, Ace
  • Gold: Jack, Queen, King, Ace
  • Platinum: Jack, Queen, King, Ace

Your rank in ONRUSH will increase or decrease depending on your overall performance in the game, and whilst winning as a team is the overall focus, individual accomplishments like MVP awards will also benefit your overall ranking.

Following the ONRUSH Pre-Season will be the ONRUSH Summer Slam. This event will run for a total of eight weeks, featuring new celebrations, character outfits, vehicle shells, liveries, XP bonuses, and Tombstones.

“Ranked Mode is something the community have been asking for since day one, and we can’t wait for people to start battling it out to see who the best in the world is,” said Kris Pope, Lead Designer for ONRUSH. “In Ranked Mode, your rank will go up or down depending on how well you perform in-game. Winning as a team is, of course, the aim of the game, but individual achievements, such as the MVP award; will also help your ranking.”
“Each season will feature eight challenge cards, with a new card being unlocked every week,” he continued. “Each of these cards has three rewards that a player can earn by winning matches. Each win will earn the player 100 points towards each card. However, a player can increase the points they earn towards each card by unlocking seasonal win bonuses.”

To celebrate the release of Ranked Mode, Codemasters has also debuted an all-new gameplay trailer for ONRUSH to highlight the Summer Slam, which you can check out below.

The latest update for ONRUSH, which released last week, also included replays. Replays can be used to create videos within the game, which can be edited and shared online for everyone to check out. From epic takedowns to crushing victories, you can capture and share your favourite ONRUSH moments from the push of a button. When viewing a replay, you can also enter Photo Mode at any time to capture that perfect shot! Filters and frames from Photo Mode can also be added to your replays to add a more professional touch to them. There’s also a slow-motion button that allows you to slow down the carnage and ramp up the drama even further!

Make sure you check out the latest content update today for ONRUSH and participate in the inaugural ranked pre-season to unlock some exclusive in-game rewards ahead of the ONRUSH Summer Slam later this month! ONRUSH launched on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 last June, and in our review, we scored it a 9/10 for its “high-impact, adrenaline-fuelled off-roading action creating a spectacle of sensational speed, over-the-top style and pure riveting fun.”
