ONRUSH Introduces Four New Tracks, Reveals Ranked Seasons Roadmap

Codemasters has introduced four new tracks into ONRUSH with its latest content update on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. These environments can be enjoyed in both Custom Match and online playlists, and the update download size comes in at 4GB.

The four tracks include the spaceship-themed land of ‘Arrakku,’ the forest greens of ‘Cascades Way,’ the medieval roman castles of ‘Jedhora,’ and finally, the wild west is fused with sci-fi in ‘Smith Bends.’ All four tracks are distinct in their own unique ways but deliver plenty of room for the action-packed chaos and fun that ONRUSH is known to deliver. You can learn more about these tracks in this lovely roundup video from the developer.

Codemasters also revealed the upcoming seasonal timeline for ONRUSH’s Ranked Play. This includes the ongoing ‘Summer Slam,’ which ends on October 29th, the ‘Crimewave’ season from November 26th, the ‘Rush Invaders’ season from February 25th, and the ‘Super Jam’ season from May 27th. Overall, that’s a lot of seasons to enjoy, and each will introduce a series of unique rewards to unlock.

With the final season ending on July 29th, 2019, that’ll takes us to well over a year after the launch of ONRUSH! It’s certain to go by fast, but judging by the graphic, there will be even more future seasons to complete in, including one beginning on August 26th, 2019. Either way, Codemasters looks set to continue supporting its smash arcade racer, even if it underperformed at retail and resulted in the unfortunate departure of several key staff, including Game Director Paul Rustchynsky – who has since moved on to Project CARS 2 developer Slightly Mad Studios under the same job title.

ONRUSH has been heavily discounted since its June 5th release, but it can be downloaded and enjoyed on Xbox One at no additional cost on Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass subscription service. The title was added for members in August.

For more on ONRUSH, be sure to check out our review, which called it “the result of a classic arcade racer fused with Overwatch and Titanfall.” The review concludes by saying “its high-impact, adrenaline-fuelled off-roading action creates a spectacle of sensational speed, over-the-top style and pure riveting fun.”
