With the release of ONRUSH’s smashing new 4K Gameplay Trailer, the team at Codemasters have also detailed the eight vehicle classes that will be featured in the upcoming MotorStorm spiritual successor.

They include Blade, Outlaw, Vortex, Charger, Interceptor, Dynamo, Titan and Enforcer. Each class has its own unique style, handling and abilities, and these will be key to leading your team to victory, especially in online competition where smart tactics are a necessity.

Codemasters say abilities have been tailored for different mindsets, with some being curated for more offensive players who have some rage built up and want to inflict devastating takedowns on their rivals. Support abilities, meanwhile, will see players assist each other, and regardless of which class is calling to you, you’ll be playing a vital role in helping your team smash your rivals into millions of tiny metallic pieces.

In addition, if you’re not happy with your current class in certain online race events, you can pick another and re-join the action in a breeze!

Now, about those liveries in the trailer. They come from the artists at AnyForty, and in ONRUSH there will be “an endless amount of customisation options at your fingertips to ensure that you stand out from the stampede.” So, not only will your class and abilities be unique, but also the livery showcased on your vehicle – awesome!

Codemasters also confirmed that ONRUSH will receive an Open Beta in May for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Indeed, everyone will be able to try and perfect their takedowns and hone team-tactics before ONRUSH officially releases on June 5th. PlayStation 4 owners will also have “early access” to the beta if they pre-order the game on Sony’s platform.

Additional details regarding the beta, vehicle classes, and customization will be revealed closer to launch. Codemasters has teased more will be revealed in the coming weeks, but for now, make sure you don’t miss the latest trailer, which was all captured in-game from ONRUSH races using cinematic camera angles. The developer says none of it was staged or scripted, just pure adrenaline-fuelled action. It was also backed by a brand-new music track created exclusively for ONRUSH called Cravasse – by the Qemists.

Don’t forget to mark June 5th, 2018 down in your calendar as that’s when ONRUSH blasts its way onto Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It will also be available on the PC at a later date, and will make “full use” of the upgraded hardware inside the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro. You can pre-order the Deluxe Edition on consoles today, which includes additional liveries, extra Crashtag artwork and Track Tombstones.
