With the launch of Sea of Thieves in March, Microsoft has revealed a selection of accessories available for the open-world pirate adventure game on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC, and they look incredible. Seriously, I need these in my life.

Headlined by the Sea of Thieves Wireless Controller announced back in December, featuring a deep purple translucent design adorned with laser-etched barnacles, one treasured golden trigger and haunted by a mesmerizing glowing skull, Microsoft has announced the full line-up of Sea of Thieves accessories for Xbox One and PC.

These include the Seagate 2TB Game Drive featuring a similar Sea of Thieves design to the limited-edition controller, as well as two Controller Stands featuring a comparable eye-catching look adorned with the game’s official logo and the same purple design.

Seagate 2TB Game Drive

The limited-edition Seagate 2TB Game Drive is bathed in deep purple and prominently features the Sea of Thieves glowing skull and a hint of gold to match the official controller. With 2TB of storage, you’ll be able to store more than 50 games onto this external hard drive, including Sea of Thieves, and all your favourite digital treasures.

The drive connects via USB 3.0 to your Xbox One or Windows 10 PC, and includes one month of Xbox Game Pass and an exclusive jewel-studded in-game weapon – The Midnight Blunderbuss, for your Sea of Thieves character so you can hit the seas in style. Microsoft says the hard drive will be available in the US, Canada, France, Germany and the UK starting March 20th, 2018 for $89.99.

Sea of Thieves Controller Stands

Sea of Thieves also has two officially-licensed Controller Stands from Controller Gear that can be used with any Xbox One Wireless Controller, but you obviously want to be pairing this with the Sea of Thieves controller.

Firstly, there’s the Sea of Thieves Xbox Pro Charging Stand. This one is designed to be sleek and is built with the same material and look as the official controller. When you slot any Xbox One Wireless Controller into it, it will begin charging. Inside the box is the charging stand, battery cover, rechargeable battery, and a 6-foot power cord. It will be available February 19th, 2018 for $49.99.

Controller Gear will also release a Sea of Thieves Xbox One Controller Stand without the charging capabilities for $14.99, featuring the same Sea of Thieves design that’s a perfect match for your limited-edition controller. Going all-pirate has never been easier.

Sea of Thieves Xbox One Controller

The headline accessory of the bunch is the Sea of Thieves Xbox One Wireless Controller. This one can be enjoyed on both PC and console, and with it’s incredibly unique design, it’s simply unmissable. It’s the best-looking Xbox One controller to date, and it begins shipping to retailers today. Fans can purchase the controller now for $74.99. It includes the Ferryman Clothing Set for your Sea of Thieves character, a 14-day Xbox Live Gold trial, and a 14-day Xbox Game Pass trial.

The Xbox Game Pass trial will also allow you to enjoy Sea of Thieves when it launches next month and over 100 other Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles at no additional cost for 14 days and $9.99 per month thereafter.

Sailing Towards Launch

Sea of Thieves launches on March 20th, 2018 for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC as an Xbox Play Anywhere title – allowing you to purchase one digital copy of the game and enjoy it on both platforms at no additional cost. During its recent Closed Beta on PC and console, Sea of Thieves became the most-viewed game on Twitch and Mixer over the period it was live.

In our preview for the shared open-world pirate game, we said, “Sea of Thieves has shown what’s most important in games, and it has done it in a way that’s authentic and heart-warming. It's so remarkably brilliant, and from what we've played so far, Sea of Thieves is shaping up to be the must have Xbox One exclusive this year.”

Overall, these new accessories for Sea of Thieves are beautiful and are simply must haves for any Xbox fan out there. If only Microsoft had released a Limited Edition Xbox One X or Xbox One S console for Sea of Thieves, that would have been stunning – but these accessories are definitely some of the best-looking available to-date for Microsoft’s Xbox One. Plundering treasure and sea creatures with friends can now be done in-style. Simply remarkable!
