The Crew 2 has received its first monthly vehicle drop introducing
two unmissable track beasts – the 2014 Ferrari FXX-K and the 2016 KTM X-Bow R.
Season Pass holders receive seven days of early access to
monhtly vehicle drops, with both the Ferrari FXX-K and KTM X-Bow made available
for free today via the in-game garage should you own the pass. They will then
be made available to purchase for all players in seven days’ time. Accompanying
these track legends is the first
post-launch patch release for The Crew 2, which fixes various issues and
exploits which were present in the game.
Below, we’ll take a closer look at both of the new cars for the month of July with their
official trailers and accompanying descriptions shared by Ivory Tower.
Get behind the wheel of one of the most exclusive and
exquisite cars ever built. With its radical design and ground-breaking
performances, this track-prepped, limited-edition supercar is not only
incredibly powerful, but also more aerodynamic, lighter and quicker than most.
Its unparalleled performances will take you first to the finish line!
This unique super sports car belongs to all those who are
pioneers at heart: the first four-wheeled model in KTM’s history is also the
world’s first production car with a full carbon composite monocoque. Described
as the Austrian manufacturer’s interpretation of a super sports car for the
21st century, the X-Bow R combines incredible handling and great performances with
an inimitable style.
Remember, both track toys are now available at no cost to Season
Pass holders. Regular owners of The Crew 2 will be able to purchase these vehicles
individually on Wednesday, August 1st.
Monthly vehicle drops are just one part of The Crew 2’s
post-launch support plan. Developer Ivory Tower has spoken about “polish,
densification and novelty” when describing its vision for post-launch
updates and content for The Crew 2. The team will add new event skills and
vehicles to existing motorsport disciplines and features, with new disciplines
to also be added in the future. PvP Lobbies will also be made available in The
Crew 2 by December 2018.

for our detailed impressions and final verdict. In our review, we say “The Crew
2 delivers an open-world USA like no other with a vast line-up of vehicles and
motorsport-focused disciplines, but it’s held back by weak progression, missed
opportunities and lacklustre racing.”
