Racers of all-types can look forward to taking on terrain and defying gravity in the newly-released Open Beta for The Crew 2 – available today on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
The Crew 2’s Open Beta allows players to explore an open-world USA in their favourite vehicles and take on the all-new motorsports-inspired campaign mode. Additional content is also present over the Closed Beta as players will now be able to progress through the first two fame levels to unlock new disciplines and vehicles as they earn more in-game followers. Those new to the Open Beta include Touring Car, Drift, Motocross, and Jetsprint and join the pre-existing Street Race, Powerboat, Rally Raid, and Aerobatics activities already available from the Closed Beta.
The Open Beta is available to download for everyone and can be enjoyed in four-player co-op or in single-player. There’s no PvP mode just yet, as that won’t be coming to The Crew 2 until sometime
this Winter. Those who wish to participate in The Crew 2’s Open Beta can simply download it for free from the Xbox Store, PlayStation Store, Uplay or Steam. Participating in the Open Beta also grants you an exclusive reward for the full game – a Gold Helmet that can be used to customize your in-game character.
Developed by Ivory Tower in Lyon, France, The Crew 2 has been built to allow players to experience the thrill of American motorsports inside “a fully-redesigned USA.” Players can push the limits of their vehicles in non-stop competition and exploration to become the greatest motorsports champion America has to offer as they collect a wide variety of exotic cars, bikes, boats and planes to dominate the racing scene on land, on water, and in the air.
The Crew 2 launches worldwide on June 29th, 2018 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Gold Edition owners can experience the full game ahead of its full release from June 26th – just one day after the Open Beta wraps up on June 25th, 2018 at 8am UTC. The Crew 2 also takes advantage of 4K Ultra HD support on Xbox One X and high-end PCs, and this can be experienced today in the Open Beta.
