Where is time going. It doesn’t feel that long ago when we
were celebrating Christmas with our family and friends, but alas, it’s already
been more than a month since the festive season. Indeed, we’re almost through
January – the first month of 2018 already. You wouldn’t be wrong in saying that
time is flying by rapidly, but within that space, we did launch the
FullThrottle website, and built it from the ground up with speed, usability,
and delivering the best content in mind.
However, with the month also over, there’s still the remainder
of 2018 ahead of us, and whilst it’s hard to predict what the year has in store
for us, here’s hoping it’s a good one. We wanted to share two videos today from
our co-founders Tom Matthews
and Alan Walsh
that discuss their plans for the next 12 months, and what you can expect from
their channels throughout 2018. Both also reflect on the incredible year that
was 2017, and it’s safe to say it was the best year of their lives so far! Tom also has a well-needed rant about the YouTube platform.
With 2018 being a new year and a fresh year, with a new
Forza Horizon title expected from Playground Games, as well as the highly-anticipated
releases of Red Dead Redemption
II and The Crew 2, not to mention post-launch expansions for Forza
Motorsport 7 and Gran Turismo
Sport, there’s a lot ahead for us to look forward to, and these videos give
you an idea of the type of content Tom and Alan are hoping to continue
producing on their channels this year.
In terms of what you’ll be seeing in each of the videos, Tom
captures gameplay from the final Heist mission in the single-player of Grand
Theft Auto V, whilst Alan’s includes a first-place victory in Forza Racing Leagues
on Dubai’s Mountain Course in Forza Motorsport 7. Both also discuss the FullThrottle
website, as well our team’s ambition for the brand itself. Overall, if you haven’t
seen them already, it’s well worth giving them a watch, especially if you want
a recap of the events we attended in 2017 and a tease of what to expect over
the year ahead.
