F1 2020 Reveals Celebratory Gameplay Trailer

Codemasters has published the first official gameplay trailer for F1 2020, featuring the unforgettable Formula 1 theme music by Brian Tyler celebrating 70 years of the sport.

The trailer showcases intense on-track action and racing battles across some of the F1 season’s most technically challenging circuits. Also featured are Formula 2 cars, which will be fully integrated into F1 2020’s Career Mode. Choose from a full or half-season of F2 or jump straight to the action in a three-race Formula 2 teaser.

The F2 2019 season will be available at launch, with the 2020 season coming to the game as a free update later this year.

“The first in-game trailer has become a key moment in the F1® game campaign and this year is no exception,” said Lee Mather, F1 Franchise Game Director at Codemasters. “Each season we raise the visual benchmark, and with more circuits and teams getting new liveries, we can’t wait for the season to start and for players to be able to race.”

F1 2020 also features a host of classic cars so you can relive the glory days of racing in some of the world’s most legendary racecars. 16 are featured in the base game, including:

Those who opt for the F1 2020 Deluxe Schumacher Edition will also receive a selection of cars driven by the famed German driver, including:

F1 2020 launches on Friday, July 10 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam. It’ll also be available on Stadia, the game-streaming platform from Google.
