Amazon has released the official teaser trailer for The Grand Tour’s eight episode in its second season, and this week’s one sees hosts Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond visit some evocative old motorsport locations in Europe using a pair of re-born 1950s sports cars, which have been “painstakingly rebuilt” by their manufacturers to the original designs.

Clarkson takes the Aston Martin DB4 GT lightweight, whilst Hammond opts for the Jaguar XKSS. The pair start their adventure on the street circuit in Pau, France before their fun is interrupted by the arrival of James May in a modern Honda Civic Type R which he insists is better in every way.

This week’s episode also sees Jeremy Clarkson take care of some unfinished business as he finally reviews the 2017 Ford GT with the official track test. We saw it on the road already in New York state in the second episode this season, but now we’ll have his final verdict on the exotic supercar. Meanwhile, Celebrity Face Off finds the world’s fastest drummer from a band beginning with the letter ‘P’ as Stewart Copeland from The Police competes against Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason.

Episode 8 of The Grand Tour’s second season hits Amazon Prime Video on Friday, January 26th, and as you can see, it’s shaping up to be another cracker of an episode. For even more on the trio’s latest shenanigans, check out our feature story from Tom Matthews for our thoughts and impressions of the series so far, as well as the teaser from last week’s episode: ‘It’s a Gas, Gas, Gas.’
