Codemasters has shared a new ‘Director’s Cut’ version of the
Gameplay Trailer which debuted last month. Fans have been eager for POV footage captured from the game, and the ONRUSH team have now delivered on this with a new take of ‘The Stampede Is Coming’ trailer – which was captured entirely in-game. This new behind-the-scenes video allows you to visualize how ONRUSH will look when you play it on your Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this June.
All the footage featured in this video is recorded from one of the camera angles available to use when enjoying ONRUSH. The gameplay is also completely unscripted – this is how chaotic and exhilarating ONRUSH actually is, and as you can see, it looks brilliant. The video is also narrated by ONRUSH Game Director Paul Rustchynsky – more typically known as Rushy by the community, who explains everything you’re seeing happen on-screen!
However, it doesn’t offer a complete gameplay walkthrough of the entire trailer. Instead, it focuses on the ‘Stampede’ section at the end of the video, which sees the team blasting along Sanctuary Shore in their buggies. If all that isn’t enough for you, Codemasters has promised more gameplay footage to be shared “in the coming weeks,” so be on the lookout for that.
In the meantime, you have may heard ‘Fodder’ referenced throughout the video and feel a little confused as to what Rushy was talking about. Fodder are neutral AI vehicles that are always in the action, and their sole purpose is to create some carnage and offer the player a chance to take them down for an instant hit of boost.
ONRUSH will have 12 Fodder in-action at any one time, and you’ll be seeing a lot of them in the game. They won’t pose much of a threat to you though. As described on the official Codemasters
Blog, think of them as moving, bite-sized packets of boost in a tasty metallic shell. Once you’ve had your first taste of fodder, you’ll be hunting them down for more.
Overall, that’s everything we have that’s new on ONRUSH for now! Check back on FullThrottle regularly for the latest on Codemasters’ upcoming Motorstorm spiritual successor leading up to its June 5th
release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and be on the lookout for some all-new gameplay footage in the near future.

previous coverage of the game, which are objects dropped by you or an opponent whenever you wreck, and when smashed through, they provide a free boost to the player.
