It’s that time of year again. E3 2018 has arrived and later today, Xbox will be on-stage at the Microsoft
Theater in Los Angeles to debut all the latest and greatest gaming experiences coming to Xbox One and Windows 10 PC later this year and beyond. The Xbox E3 Media Briefing will be live from 9pm BST (1pm PDT, 4pm EDT) and will be streamed on a variety of platforms – YouTube,
Twitch, Mixer and Facebook. The Mixer livestream will also be in 4K resolution and offering digital rewards for those who sign-in with their Microsoft Account.
Microsoft has been rehearsing all weekend for the briefing and will premiere
15 new titles at the show. There will also be other surprise announcements for fans, including plenty of third-party content with some surprising partners. An official reveal for Shadow of
the Tomb Raider and the unveil of Battlefield V’s War Stories have already been confirmed for the briefing. The first-party portfolio will also be present with the eagerly-anticipated
debut of Forza Horizon 4 likely to headline this year’s line-up of exclusives from Microsoft Studios.
The company is also expected to make announces for Halo, Gears of War, Sea of Thieves, and other first-party experiences. Could we see the all-new
RPG project from Forza Horizon developer Playground Games – that’s heavily rumoured to be Fable – show up as well? Only time will tell, but there are also rumblings
of a potential acquisition. Either way, expect to hear a lot about Microsoft’s plans for its first-party portfolio during the conference, as well as a potential
$100 price drop on the Xbox One X based on recent retailer listings, and a new Xbox Elite Controller.
We’ll have everything you need to know on Forza Horizon 4 here on FullThrottle Media with coverage coming later today and during the week. Expect both articles and video content, including news, impressions, feature roundups, breakdowns and more. For now, you can also check out our
detailed wishlist of everything we hope is in Forza Horizon 4, as well as our behind-the-scenes look at last year’s
Forza Motorsport 7 reveal with the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS.
Don’t forget to tune into the briefing – which you can watch from the video embed above from 9pm BST (1pm PDT, 4pm EDT) and stay tuned for everything on both Xbox and Forza Horizon 4 during the conference and post-show. The full schedule of Xbox E3 events over the days ahead can also be found above, including a special episode of Inside Xbox on Monday, June 11th.
